🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Student Assistance Program (SAP)
At Darby Township School, our school counselors serve as the SAP coordinators for each building in the Southeast Delco School District. Parent/guardian permission is required for any student to participate in SAP-related activities. Please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s school counselor with any questions about the program.
What is SAP?
The Student Assistance Program (SAP) helps students who may be experiencing barriers to their school success. These barriers could be related to emotional challenges or the use of alcohol and other drugs.
The SAP team is made up of trained faculty, administrators, pupil services personnel, and outside consultants. They help identify potential barriers and offer appropriate intervention and support. All referrals and participation are confidential.
